Run Against Hunger's mission is to encourage the running community to participate in their first-ever Run-A-Thon from home in efforts to raise money for No Kid Hungry, an organization actively combatting the food insecurity caused by COVID-19.


Join Run Against Hunger in logging your miles to combat food insecurity caused by the economic effects of COVID-19 in the United States. Gather your teammates or compete as an individual, reach out to your community for pledges of donations per mile you complete from April 20-April 26, and lace-up for this Run-A-Thon!

The money raised through your fundraising will go directly to No Kid Hungry. No Kid Hungry is helping schools and community groups feed kids while schools are closed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Kids in need have missed nearly 840 million meals at school due to closures.

COVID-19 has provided a challenge for those wanting to help, as leaving our homes to do so is seldom an option. Run Against Hunger provides an opportunity to help aid those struggling in a safe and productive manner. Additionally, we hope this gives runners a way to stay connected while having to train separately.

Remember no donation is too small, as just $1 provides 10 meals for those experiencing food insecurity.
