What information do we collect?

We collect information from you, which may include Personal Information, when you register on our site.

When making a donation or pledge or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter certain Personal Information. “Personal Information” includes, for example, your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, amounts that you pledge or donate to campaigns, credit card information, and other information that may be defined as “personal information” or “personal data” under applicable privacy laws. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To provide our services and process transactions
  • To send periodic emails

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days in order to pay your organization and report as per IRS guidelines.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We may disclose or transfer your information to third parties that assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others rights, property, or safety.

In addition, you may have the right to “opt in” and “opt out” of certain uses of your Personal Information. Without limiting the foregoing, with your consent, we may share certain of your Personal Information (which may include your contact information and information regarding your pledges or donations) with third party marketing partners or campaign promotional partners so that they can use your Personal Information: (i) to contact you by email, telephone, postal mail or other common communication methods about our or their products or services, (ii) for other marketing purposes, (iii) to display or publish campaign, pledge and donation results on third party websites or other media; (iv) in the ways we may describe when you provide your information; or (v) for any other purpose with your consent.

In certain circumstances, we may act as a limited payment agent for a beneficiary or charity for the purposes of facilitating the processing of your donation or payment. In such circumstances, we may disclose certain of your Personal Information (which may include, among other things, your name, address, e-mail address, and/or donation or payment amount).

Your California Privacy Rights.
