Every young person deserves the opportunity for an education. I’m committed to using my platform as a professional soccer player to making sure our youth in need receive that opportunity. That’s why, in partnership with Herbalife and the LA Galaxy, I’m dedicating my performance this season to supporting A Place Called Home’s Shaheen Scholarship Program. And I’m challenging all Galaxy fans to join me!

The Herbalife Family Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation have committed to donating $2,000 for every goal I score, and you can join our mission by pledging to donate too! All proceeds will benefit the LA Galaxy Foundation and will be directed to A Place Called Home’s Shaheen Scholarship Program. A Place Called Home’s Shaheen Scholarship Program helps provide educational opportunities for young people who need our support.

A Place Called Home and The David and Linda Shaheen Foundation have joined forces to create a scholarship program devoted to young people with great promise who otherwise might not have thought college was in reach and/or are the first in their families to go to college.
