Dave's Trans-Pyrenees Challenge / Wish for Wheels

One in five children in Metro Denver lives in poverty, and a new bicycle is only a dream for many. You can help change that. Please consider pledging ten cents ($0.10) or more for every mile that I will ride on my upcoming cycling journey across the Pyrenees. There are about 500 total miles available on the trip over 6 days, and I estimate that I will complete somewhere between 250 and 500 miles (weather conditions and my aches and pains depending). Your pledge will make a difference. A new bike will help give a young child a strong sense of independence, freedom, community, and responsibility. Do you remember your very first bike? That is a memory that every child should have.
