Dear family and friends,

As many of you know, our good friend Tom has been suffering from severe cluster headaches for a very long time. Tom is an awesome guy and has been an inspiration to me. No matter how bad or tough it gets for him, Tom not only manages to stay positive and keep moving forward but selflessly continues helping others his priority. Tom has enough on his plate to deal with as it is, without having to worry about how he is going to have to pay for the care he needs just to make it from one day to the next.

On April 7-8, I’ll be competing in the Bessies Creak 24 ultra cycling event. I will attempt to ride at least 300 miles in 24 hours in an effort to raise donations for our friend Tom. I’m inviting family and friends to pledge a donation for every mile I complete. For example, I’ve set my goal to ride my bike at least 300 miles in 24 hours. My friend pledges $1 for each mile completed. If I complete 300 miles within 24 hours, then I will have secured a $300 donation from my friend.

My fundraising goal is $10,000. Every penny donated will go directly to Tom to help him further his efforts to raise awareness and help fund future research. Each and every donation, no matter how big or small will make a significant impact and help our friend Tom get the care he deserves.
