Play for the As - Supporting the Fight Against Alzheimer's Disease

Our Play for the As event fully supports the battle against Alzheimer’s disease by providing funds and support services to individuals and families affected by this dreaded disease. Our expanded efforts toward awareness, education, and the fight for a cure can use your help! Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease, and countless others have changed their lives drastically in order to care for these individuals. Join the Strath Haven boy’s varsity lacrosse team in our mission to defeat Alzheimer’s by pledging for every ground ball we record through April 16th. Our goal is to register 450 ground balls (eg pledge of $0.10/ground ball may equal a $45 total donation).

Proceeds directly benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter.

For any lacrosse novices out there, any ball not in the possession of one team that comes into the possession of the other team in live-ball play is a ground ball. Consistently winning groundballs will win lacrosse games. You can help motivate us to record ground balls and defeat Alzheimer’s by making your pledge today!
