I'm participating in "2024 Missouri State Basketball Rebound Challenge Game" benefiting The Rebound Foundation. I’m very excited about being a part of an organization that changes people’s lives. The Rebound Foundation’s mission is to support women and give them a fresh start by providing safe homes, “Marda’s House” and helping to parent youth from entering the cycle of abuse. One of my greatest challenges was surviving life threatening experiences of physical abuse and painful episodes of emotional abuse throughout a period of my life. As a committee member I can strongly say that my journey was in vain. My past experience made me very passionate about our mission and grateful to be able to witness so many survivors stories. It is time for the Rebound Challenge game! Our goal is to raise funds to support those families shattered by domestic violence to rebound back to life. IT’S TIME TO BEAR UP AGAIN!

Please join our team as we once again rebound to help end domestic violence during our Men’s game against Valparaiso on February 17, 2024, and Lady Bears game against Southern Illinois on February 25, 2024! Last year, we raised over $22,000 during the Rebound Challenge and this year we’re aiming higher! This is why we added the Lady Bears as well! Please help us continue to provide transitional housing to women and children survivors of domestic abuse and educate youth on dating violence and healthy relationships.
