Proceeds benefit Youth On Course
What: Hundred Hole Hike challenge to raise money and awareness for Youth on Course; Playing and walking 100 holes of golf in one day.
When: September 10th, sunup to sundown, Claremont Country Club
Who: Youth on Course, a 501 C-3 non-profit, is expanding nationally and currently operates in 26 states, serves over 42,000 youth members, and provides access to affordable golf at 900+ golf facilities nation-wide.
Why: Youth on Course provides its members with access to golf for $5 or less, summer jobs through caddie and internship programs, and access to higher education through college scholarships. Access to jobs, access to education, access to opportunities.
How: You can pledge any amount for each hole of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and I complete 100 holes, that’s $100 towards Youth on Course.
My story: For those who know me, golf is a huge passion of mine. I have been around the game for my entire life and I want others to experience what this game has to offer. What is good for the game of golf, is good for me. And Youth on Course is good for golf! I joined the board this year and I am very excited about my future involvement with Youth On Course.
For the kids, I will be playing 100 holes, walking 20+ miles, and taking hundreds of swings in one day ! Your support will definitely be some motivation. Thanks for your help.
Check out where I stand against other YOC National hikers by viewing my ranking on the leaderboard.
