You may opt to log in to Pledge It using a third-party integration, like Facebook login. The email address you provide, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
We have implemented and maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures, policies, and procedures designed to reduce the risk of accidental destruction or loss, or unauthorized disclosure or access to your personal information including,
where appropriate, password protection, encryption, tokenization, and secure socket layering to protect our Sites; and
following strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of your personal information to prevent unauthorized access to it.

We use a third-party payment processor, Stripe Inc., to process payments, such as donations, registration fees, or other purchases made on Pledge It. The personal data they collect includes transactional data, identifying information about you, and information about the devices that you use to access their services. They use this data to operate and improve the services provided to us, including fraud detection, loss prevention, authentication, and performance analytics. They operate both as processors for us and independent controllers for the information they collect directly from you. California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to info@pledgeit.org.
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information stored on our platform. To initiate a deletion request, please contact our customer support team at support@pledgeit.org with your verified account details. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, although certain data may need to be retained for legal compliance purposes. Please note that deleting your data on our platform may also result in the deletion of related information from connected third-party services, depending on their data retention policies.
