Notre Dame Touchdown Pledge Drive 2015

Notre Dame earned its Super 6 Bowl Invitation by winning 10 games and losing to a pair of fellow Top 10 teams, Clemson and Stanford – on the road by a combined total of four points.

The Irish were rewarded a stellar bowl match-up against the inaugural College Football Playoff champion – Ohio State – in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day.

The Notre Dame Chapter of Uplifting Athletes will be looking for its offense to deliver some touchdowns against the Buckeyes by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive.

Uplifting Athletes is a national non-profit organization with 25 chapters that support our mission to make a positive and lasting impact on the rare disease community through the power of college football.

Each touchdown the Fighting Irish scores against Ohio State will benefit the student-athlete led Notre Dame Chapter and its efforts to raise awareness of and research funds for the rare disease osteosarcoma.

The 2015 Notre Dame football team and Notre Dame Chapter President Joe Schmidt asks its fans to support their efforts by making a pledge through the Fighting Irish online Touchdown Pledge Drive site.

Founded in 2012 by Schmidt, a senior linebacker and team captain, the Notre Dame Chapter champions the rare disease osteosarcoma in honor of Sam Grewe – a long-time Notre Dame fan who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2011 who served as an inspiration for the ND football program.
