The Big Brothers Big Sisters mission works. Their mentors are changing the lives of children in our community every day, and that’s why I’m excited to be partnering with them.
I’m teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters to support the mission of youth mentoring, but I am only one man. There are still hundreds of children in Orange County who need a positive role model. So I’m proposing a challenge to every baseball fan.
This season, you can pledge a donation for every home run I hit or make a one-time donation to support life-changing mentoring programs for local kids facing adversity.

You can help in the following two ways:
Pledge $5 per home run
When you make a pledge of at least $5 per home run or a flat donation of $100 or more, you will be entered to win a signed bat. (Minimum donation of $100 for the season to be entered to win the drawing at the end of the season. Winner will be notified by email at the end of the season.)
Pledge $10 per home run
If you pledge at least $10 per home run or make a flat donation of $200 or more, you will receive an exclusive, custom-designed Mike Trout/Big Brothers Big Sisters T-shirt and be entered in the drawing to win a signed bat. (Minimum donation of $200 for the season to receive the shirt and be entered in the drawing. Further instructions regarding your shirt will be sent via email when your home run pledges total $200 or if you make a minimum flat donation over $200.)
Remember, you can pledge a donation in any amount — it can be as little or as much as you can. Every little bit helps.
