Lindsey Vonn Foundation Podium Pledge

In 2015 I started the Lindsey Vonn Foundation because I wanted to show young girls around the world that they can do anything they put their minds to. My foundation is dedicated to helping girls find the strength within them, and we do that by building a community of girls at camps around the country. We create a comfortable environment for growth and empowerment where these girls can discover the potential that exists in each and every one of them.

But I’m only one girl and I want to help thousands of girls. I need your help. I want every race I compete in this winter to make a difference to girls everywhere. So while I’m competing to pass my last milestone and become the winningest ski racer of all time, in my heart every win, every podium will mean I’m making a difference to a girl somewhere.

Here’s how you make a difference. This season I’m planning on competing in 21 different races. In my best season, I was on the podium 13 times. By making a pledge, you’ll commit an amount you’ll donate to my charity for every time I’m on the podium, 1st, 2nd or 3rd, including the Olympics. Every time I make the podium, you’ve made a donation and the girls everywhere win. Simple. So this season, when you see me in the start and you know I’m going all out to win, I’m also going all out to make that podium and help me reach another goal….when I win, girls win.
