Ken Carter / King of the Hammers for Heroes

I’m participating in the King of the Hammers for Heroes fundraising challenge! The King Of The Hammers is the ultimate test of man and machine, where simply finishing is considered a victory. I’m inviting family and friends to either make a pledge per mile I complete, or simply making a one-time flat donation.

All proceeds will go to the Third Option Foundation and then those funds will go directly to the families of the heroes. The Third Option Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt national non-profit organization, does not keep any of the funds raise, all funds go directly to families of heroes. Please help in anyway you can!

You will probably never know the names of these silent heroes who defend our safety and freedoms in the most distant corners of the world. They’re often the first in and the last to leave many conflicts around the globe. For decades, the operators of CIA’s Special Operations units have served and sacrificed in quiet anonymity. Particularly in the years since 9/11, this small group, along with their families, has borne an unprecedented burden in the fight to protect our nation. The nature of their service means they and their loved ones cannot seek the support or relief available to military service members and their families. Third Option Foundation is the only organization that fills this gap, by providing crucial survivorship assistance and resiliency programs to heal the wounded, help the families of those we have lost, and support those who are still serving.

About Ken Carter

Ken started Team iMPAKS in 2018 to race King of the Hammers and the Ultra4 Eastern Series. Team iMPAKS finished in 2nd place in the Eastern Series and is going back again in 2019 to compete in King of the Hammers and the eastern Series.

Ken's family has served in many branches of the military and we fully support all branches and thank all our veterans for the freedoms we have due to their work.
