Big Tackles with Harrison Smith

I’m thrilled to announce the return of my BIG TACKLES campaign, which supports area youth and Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities.

Together with your pledge, every tackle I make during the 2019 season provides financial support to help kids facing adversity reach their potential. Last year, we raised over $56,000 – and I’m expecting 2019 to be an even BIGGER year on and off the field!

How It Works: Click here to become a Big Tackles Ambassador who advocates to help us reach our campaign goal and achieve our mission. Share your personal fundraiser link with everyone you know – the top fundraiser will win this VIP experience with Harrison Smith! Fundraisers receive credit on the Fundraiser Leaderboard every time someone gives to Big Tackles through their fundraiser link. Big Tackles Ambassadors will be recognized on Pledge It as they rise up the fundraiser leaderboard.

The Steps Are Easy:

WHO YOU WILL HELP

Almost 4,000 Twin Cities kids each year benefit from having a Big Brother or Big Sister in their life. 87% of these Littles com from low income households, 73% live with single parents, and up to 15% of Littles are homeless or highly mobile (meaning that they are without a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence).

Did you know that youth who are mentored do better in school, have healthier relationships with their parents and peers, and are less likely to engage in risky behavior? 92% will graduate from high school. 86% maintained or improved avoidance of risk-taking behavior. And 85% have a clearer understanding of their career options.

But the waiting list for a mentor is long, especially for Little Brothers. Your support of Big Tackles will help Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities match more youth and help them on the path to a life-changing friendship.
