Ranked 1 of 2 fundraisers - $224 raised by 1 supporter
I'm participating in "Faceoff vs. Colon Cancer" and am asking you to support me by pledging per faceoff win during my fundraising campaign. I believe in this cause and I'm excited to earn your support with every faceoff win. Please help me reach the campaign goal of $20,000 by pledging now. I really appreciate your support. Thank you!
December 2018
In December 2015, Drew Peden was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He is a father, husband, son, role model, coach, and friend to many. Drew has continued his fight with this disease ever since and has been enduring multiple rounds of treatment and procedures. These past three years have been incredibly tough on the family, and together, we can try to lift some of the weight off their shoulders.
In the upcoming 2019 season, the University of Tampa Lacrosse team is raising money for the Peden’s specifically, as well as other families impacted by colorectal cancer. We are asking for donations whether it be per faceoff win, or a one time contribution. For reference, our team won 367 out of 499 faceoffs in the 2018 season. Half of the money that we raise will be donated to the Peden family and the other half to Bringing Hope Home. Bringing Hope Home is an organization that has provided 5.9 million dollars in financial and emotional support to 5,184 qualifying families since 2008. Together, we can help a well deserving lacrosse family and other families impacted by the stress of paying bills during an already stressful time in their lives. More information about Bringing Hope Home can be found on their website bringinghopehome.org
Drew currently lives in Chester County, PA with his wife Brooke, and three boys Jake, Grant, and Will. Through coaching youth sports and being involved in the community, he has had a positive impact on so many lives. His oldest son, Jake, is entering his senior year at the University of North Carolina where he plays lacrosse.
