As a member of the Westfield YMCA Devilfish Swim Team I will be participating in a Swim-A-Thon. Donations will benefit the Westfield Area YMCA's Annual Support Campaign. Each year the Westfield Area YMCA provides over $350,000 in financial assistance to individuals & families in need to enable their participation in Y programs and memberships. Your gift will help young people achieve their potential, empower people of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the community. Would you please consider pledging in support? Let's Swim for a Good Cause!

I have been part of the Devilfish swim team here at the Y since I was 9 years old, making it a sort of second home. There are days when I really wish I didn’t spend so much time here, but I’ve also come to realize how fortunate I am to live in a community like Westfield and have the financial ability to participate in activities like the swim team, which helps me stay healthy and has been the foundation for many life-long friendships.

So, I decided to organize this Swim-a-Thon for us to have an opportunity to give back to the Westfield Area Y by donating to the Strong Kids Campaign. This campaign provides financial assistance to families in need to enable their participation in Y programs. By contributing, you can help a child attend a quality after school program while parents are at work or give a child the opportunity to attend summer day camp or be part of a sports team. This financial assistance is needed now more than ever due to the pandemic that we are facing. Many families are struggling, and you can help them.

Please consider making a donation below for your swimmer. You can either pledge a certain amount of money per lap or make a flat donation. Any amount would be beneficial to the program. Help us give kids in our community the same experience as we have had at the Westfield Area Y!
