My name is Christian Robinson. I have been blessed to have the good health and ability to play the game I love, baseball, at a competitive level. During my high school season, I want my on field performance to make a difference in ways that go beyond wins and losses for my high school.
I have created Hits for Hope as a fundraising project to support the Vs. Cancer Foundation. This foundation enables athletes to join kids in their fight against cancer by using pledges raised during the season to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and to fund research into life-saving treatments.
Pledges will be based on the total number of bases I accumulate during the season. A single is one base, a double is two bases, a triple is three bases, and a home run is four bases. (Last year I had 50 total bases.) On a weekly basis, I will update you on my performance and the impact that you are having in beating pediatric cancer. Please join me in helping a special group of kids have a better life.
