Birdie Challenge to Tackle Kids Cancer

HOW IT WORKS

It’s an exciting year for THE NORTHERN TRUST. Not only is THE NORTHERN TRUST the first event of the 2017 FedExCup Playoffs, the tournament is also launching the first ever Birdie Challenge to Tackle Kids Cancer. THE NORTHERN TRUST and PGA TOUR are teaming up with Tackle Kids Cancer to raise awareness and support for its life saving mission, by challenging fans and supporters to pledge a donation for every birdie that is recorded throughout this year’s tournament.

Your contribution will benefit The Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center. Every dollar raised benefits the essential clinical care, unique support services and groundbreaking research needed to find a cure. So pledge today, or better yet, become a campaign fundraiser. You can earn some awesome rewards.

The tournament averages approximately 1200 birdies annually. Total number is calculated by the gross number of birdies scored during regular play (First Round through Final Round), and excludes all practice rounds.

*Pledges must be made and confirmed by August 22nd to receive tickets for this year’s tournament. Your tickets will be available for pick-up at Will Call the day of the tournament. Anyone who pledges after August 22nd will receive Two (2) or Four (4) passes for THE NORTHERN TRUST 2018, which will be held at Ridgewood Country Club, in Ridgewood, NJ.

Funds raised support research at the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC. By pledging as little as $0.01 per birdie, you will make a huge impact on the treatment of our kids. See below for some ways your donation will help our kids.

ABOUT THE NORTHERN TRUST

THE NORTHERN TRUST has been a part of the PGA TOUR schedule since 1967 when Jack Nicklaus won the inaugural event at Westchester Country Club.
