Proceeds benefit NativeVision, a program of Johns Hopkins University
On Friday April 7th, my New England Blackwolves have a big game against the Georgia Swarm. Big because we need to protect our home field. Big because the Swarm are in first place and we’re right on their heels. But, more importantly, but because I’m going head to head with my Thompson Brothers Lacrosse brother Lyle Thompson to see who get the most pledges and raise the most money for NativeVision and their important mission of developing pride and supporting healthy lifestyles for Native youth.
This is what Thompson Brothers Lacrosse is all about – cultivating the original spirit, attitude and style of Native American lacrosse; challenging ourselves every day to be the best that we can be and to use our platform to bring that pride and clean leaving spirit to Native American Youth.

SPECIAL INCENTIVES
The national NativeVision camps promote nutrition, physical activity and the pursuit of education among American Indian children by engaging professional athlete volunteers as mentors. The athletes share their own stories of perseverance and stress the importance of leading healthy lifestyles. As the game of lacrosse was first started by Native Americans, exposing more Native children to the sport is a source of cultural pride as well as exercise.
