Baylor Football Lift For Life 2021

The 2021 Baylor Football Chapter Lift for Life is coming up and our team is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes and its mission to inspire the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport.

Lift For Life is a signature event held by fellow student-athletes at universities across the country. Our Lift for Life is scheduled for July 27.

Fans and supporters can make a pledge for every 100 yards we travel in in the farmer’s carry. Our goal is 1500 yards as a team during our Lift for Life competition.

The challenges faced by the Rare Disease Community are bigger than any one individual, team or organization can tackle alone. Here at Baylor we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes.

The Baylor Chapter

The Baylor Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2014 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led Baylor Chapter serves the Rare Disease Community in honor of Jacoby Burks, a young man in Waco who battles Cerebral palsy.

Former Baylor wide receiver and current Uplifting Athletes Chapter Success Manager Levi Norwood had a relationship with Burks that went back to high school and committed to use his platform as a college football player to share their story.
