AJ Cann's Pledge It Campaign

This season, my iCANN Foundation is proud to launch our Pledge It Campaign to help support abused, abandoned and neglected children in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. My Foundation, iCANN, is partnering with the Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Florida’s First Coast whose job is to serve as the voice of the child in our judicial system. Our campaign goal of $30,000 can only be reached with your help! You can pledge any dollar amount for every offensive touchdown the Jaguars make this season, or you can make a one-time donation. You’ll receive weekly updates with the amount of your donation based on my teammate’s performance. Together, we can score big for the vulnerable children in our community.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

I will be raising awareness and support by collecting pledges from friends, family, and fans for every team touchdown this season. You can help in three ways:

If you make a one-time donation of $70, you will receive an 8 x 10 photo signed by AJ Cann.

If you make a one-time donation of $200, you will receive a Jaguars mini helmet signed by AJ Cann.

If you make a one-time donation of $350, you will receive a limited edition specialty Jaguars mini helmet signed by AJ Cann.

If you make a one-time donation of $700, you will receive a signed football.

If you make a one-time donation of $3500, you will receive two invitations to AJ Cann’s Chalk Talk reception in October and a Jaguars replica helmet signed by AJ Cann and any of the other surprise guests at the event.

WHO YOU WILL HELP

Children in need. The Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Florida’s First Coast is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to help abused, neglected or abandoned children through support of the Guardian ad Litem Program in Duval, Clay and Nassau Counties. The Guardian ad Litem Program serves as the exclusive advocate for children in the court system in the fourth district. Volunteer Guardians ad Litem are court-appointed special advocates whose job is to serve as the voice of the child — a voice that is separate from the child’s family members, foster care providers, attorneys or social workers.

Guardians ad Litem make a profound impact on the children they serve and the communities those children call home. Children with a Guardian ad Litem are:

• More likely to be adopted
• Half as likely to re-enter foster care
• Less likely to spend time in long-term foster care
• More likely to have a plan for permanency
• More likely to perform well in school

There is currently a shortage for Guardians for the children in need in our community.  Your help is needed now more than ever. Funds raised are used to benefit children directly, in recruiting and training volunteers so more child abuse victims can be supported and represented by Guardians ad Litem in court.
