Proceeds benefit American Cancer Society
This year, I’ll be running World’s Toughest Mudder for my grandmother, Gloria Pezzuti. She battled cancer for 30 years and lost her fight on October 2nd, 2019. She loved hearing about my races and (more importantly) feeding me afterward. She never got the chance to come see one, as they were never in the area.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, World’s Toughest Mudder is a 24-hour obstacle course race from November 16-17 in Atlanta, GA. It’s a 5-mile circuit race peppered with 20-25 of Tough Mudder’s toughest obstacles. The man, woman, and team who complete the most laps in 24 hours win.
I’m asking for pledges per lap that will be given to the American Cancer Society. My goal for the race is between 10-15 laps. To put it into perspective, the 3 women who came in third, second, and first last year did 14, 15, and 15 laps, respectively.
Date | Name | laps | Earned |
---|---|---|---|
11/16 | World's Toughest Mudder | 13 | $3,628 |
