Tommy: “My life has not been the same since my dad was diagnosed with ALS 7 years ago. Suddenly my life turned upside down with no warning. In my mind my dad was invincible and nothing could stop him from winning this battle. No one ever survived, but I thought my dad would be the first one. He fought this horrible disease harder than I ever imagined possible. Experimental treatment after treatment hoping for some positive results. However, I saw first hand what this disease does to someone. Slowly, my dad couldn’t do the things with me he once could. Throw a football, go skiing, and the other activities my dad loved to do with us. In 2015, after a long and emotional battle, my dad lost his life to ALS. I’m asking you to donate and help Bobby and I fight to make sure this never happens to anyone ever again. WE WILL WIN!!”
Bobby: “About 7 years ago my “Uncle Tommy” was diagnosed with ALS. It was life changing for me. My perspective on life had switched dramatically. No longer could I complain about having to do or be upset about little things because now I knew it could be so much worse. Uncle Tommy fought the fight the best I could ever imagine. He did so many things the doctors said were impossible. His fight was just absolutely unbelievable. Something that comes to my mind every time I think of him was when our families were skiing together in Utah and he was really not doing well at all, but he wanted to go skiing with us. He came with an oxygen tank on his back and a mask on his face and skied with his kids one more time. The point of all of this is to show how hard he fought this disease. I believe it is my duty to find a cure and spread awareness. I am asking you to fight with me and Tommy by making a donation to Project ALS to help make this awful disease go away for good! Thank you for your donation!”
