Attitude of Gratitude

It is impossible to spend any time inside the walls of AR Children’s NW with your eyes open and not feel grateful. It’s complex and confusing to see the mountains thrust upon these kids and yet stand in awe of their courage and humor. It’s inspiring to witness their perseverance while on their own hellish mountainside.

The doctors, nurses, staff, food service, janitorial, and maintenance crews work tirelessly to apply their expertise and provide a facility of hope and healing. Their professionalism and emotional fortitude are humbling.

Why Burpees

Burpees are the worst. Plain and simple.

My reason, the why that compels me forward, is the unique mountainside that each of these kids endures. We can’t climb with them, but for a moment, we can struggle for them. The pain of empty lungs reminds me, and I do not quit.

Where do the Donations Go?

Every dollar raised goes to the kids and departments at AR Children’s NW that need it most. This year, parents might be struggling with bills; next year it might be oncology research.

How to Donate

This is a performance-based donation system. Your donation is at a per burpee rate, whether 1 cent or 1 dollar per burpee, any commitment is appreciated.

There is an option to donate a flat rate per event

Veteran’s Day Pilot Event

This will be a 2-hour event on Veteran’s Day with a challenge to complete 1,000 burpees in the allotted time. Hosted on FB Live.
