Hi! This is actually Andy (not spam) and I'm actually doing a 100-mile run in support of the First Day of School Foundation - the Foundation my family and I started in memory of my son Eli. We raise money to help students with special needs, their families, and the schools that serve them, and today I'm asking for your support. All you have to do is join me in running 100 miles through the remote, mountainous, snake-ridden woods of central Pennsylvania in (hopefully) one single day. Or if you're not into that kind of thing, I guess you could also support me by pledging per mile during this fundraising campaign. I'm excited to take another crack at one of these runs - last time we raised nearly $10,000, and I'm hoping to exceed that this time around. Let's make it happen! It’s time for Round 2 - another 100-mile challenge! Please join our community of supporters as Andy attempts another 100-miler, this time in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, on August 10th, 2024, at the Eastern States 100. We raised just shy of $10,000 last year, which went towards the construction of 2 adaptive playgrounds, and this year’s goal is to make it over last year’s total so that we can continue our work, connecting students and classrooms with the resources they need to thrive.
Please consider either a 1-time donation or a per-mile pledge. And keep in mind, this race totals out at just over 103 miles, with somewhere around 25,000 feet of elevation change over the entire course, so it is sure to be a significant challenge.
As always, we appreciate your continued support. Without you, we would not be able to do the kinds of work we do, helping kids, schools, and families.
