Proceeds benefit Zach Martin Foundation
Based on 30 bench press repetitions, each worth $68.41
At UCF’s Pro Day on March 29th I am fundraising for a cause that I believe in! In 2017 I suffered an exertional heat stroke and my life and football career was put in jeopardy. Therefore I have committed my performance on the bench press portion of UCF’s Pro Day to help the Zach Martin Foundation. I have worked closely with the Zach Martin Foundation for the past few years. They have provided education and spread awareness to athletes, coaches, and parents about exertional Heat Illnesses. The Zach Martin Foundation has succeed in passing the Zach Martin Act into law in the state of Florida as well. Zach Martins story is very powerful, I have provided links below to read all about it. Every summer I read about athletes who do not survive from an exertional heat stroke. I know that easily could have been me. That is why it is very important to me to give back and make the most of this opportunity by helping the Zach Martin Foundation continue to make athletics safer for all athletes. Fans and supporters can pledge for each 225lb bench press rep I perform at Pro Day (my positions average is around 22.) Thank you all for reading!
