Redwood Racing supports Operation Motorsports

Support your favorite endurance team and read about the Veteran they are racing with!

The Redwood Racing team will be partnered up and driving in honor of Christopher Anderson, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran and Operation Motorsport beneficiary!

**Chris joined the CAF in 1997 as Infantry, later transferring to the RCEME (Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers) Branch as a Vehicle Technician, and again transferring within the Branch to Elecro-Optics Technician (formerly Fire Control Systems). After suffering an operational stress injury (OSI), which resulted in severe OCD reaction to normal stress.  He was successfully treated with two rounds of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and medications treating depression and anxiety. Post treatment, he went on to successfully pass selection for the Canadian Special Operations Regiment, later transferring to his position with Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit. He has had various deployments overseas including Israel, Syria, Africa, Jordan, and Iraq. He now acts as a mentor and Facilitator within the Spec Ops Mental Agility Program, which helps members gain the tools and techniques to deal with daily and combat stress.  His efforts helps raise awareness, reduce stigma related to mental health, and open the door for other to share their experiences with mental health issues and/or seek help.   **

These drivers will do their best to race hard and complete as many laps as possible to help aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of these US/Canadian heros!
