Proceeds are being collected by Pledge It . for Vs. Cancer Foundation
It's been an amazing summer and we're not done yet! Your Red Land Little League Team will be representing the Mid-Atlantic Region at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. In 16 tournament games this summer, Red Land has outscored its opponents 234-13. We begin our quest for the championship on Friday, August 21 when we take on Midwest Region Champion Webb City from Missouri.
The players and coaching staff have chosen to use this opportunity to support kids battling cancer. Through the Vs. Cancer Foundation, our team is collecting pledges for every run we score during the Little League World Series. You can join our team in two ways:
The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of children by funding cancer research projects and supporting local children’s hospitals. The Vs. Cancer Foundation was started in 2013 by Chase Jones, a brain cancer survivor and member of the UNC Tar Heels baseball team. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Vs. Cancer Foundation, while the other half will benefit the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Thank you for supporting the fight against pediatric cancer, the Red Land Little League Team, the Vs Cancer Foundation, and Penn State Hershey Medical Center! Whether or not you pledge you can make a difference by sharing our campaign with family and friends via Email, Facebook, and Twitter.
Sincerely,
Special thanks to our friends at Bath Fitter for their support.
