Sim's Read for Maui Pledge Drive

The bookish online community is coming together to provide material aid for the people of Maui in the wake of the devastating wildfire in Lahaina. I'm reading books by Hawaiian and other indigenous islanders to spotlight the ecological and economic exploitation and colonization that has created the conditions for this man-made disaster.

Last week, I ran an ARC giveaway which raised $635 for the Maui Mutual Aid Fund. This week, I am hoping to raise at least $365 through this readathon for a total of $1,000 in support for Maui.
