Based on 7 reps, each worth $102.14
The Penn Volleyball Chapter Lift for Life is coming up and our team is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes. Uplifting Athletes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which harnesses the power of sport to build community and invest in the lives of those impacted by rare disease.
Lift For Life is Uplifting Athletes’ signature event held by student-athletes at colleges and universities across the country. Our event is scheduled for April 21, 2023.
The challenges faced by the rare community are bigger than any one individual, team, or organization can tackle alone. Here at Penn, we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes so that no person feels alone.
Supporting our Lift for Life is simple! Fans can pledge for each 115 lb. hex bar repetition we complete. Our goal is to average 7 reps during the event.
Join our team by making a pledge today!
How you can help:
The proceeds from our 2023 Lift for Life support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: rare disease awareness, rare disease research, Uplifting Experiences, and Uplifting Leaders.
The Penn Chapter
The Penn Volleyball program joined the Penn Chapter of Uplifting Athletes that embraces the mission to inspire the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport in 2022. In 2021, Penn Uplifting Athletes football President, Grant Ristoff, and volleyball player, Maddie McGregor, connected about expanding the scope of the Penn Chapter. McGregor stepped into a leadership role, attended the 2022 Leadership Development Conference, and held the inaugural Volleyball Lift for Life event in 2022.
