Oak Ridge Pink Zone: Girls Hoops

The Oak Ridge High School Men’s & Women’s Basketball Teams are joining forces with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for the Pink Zone-3-Point Challenge! Our teams will be squaring off during our Pink Zone Games to see who can raise the most money from behind the arc.

You can support the Oak Ridge High School Women’s Basketball Teams by pledging for every 3-point shot we make on January 26th and 27th!

The team raising the most from their 3-pointers will be crowned champion. All proceeds of the 3-Point Challenge will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was officially founded on December 3, 2007, from the vision of the organization’s namesake Kay Yow, former North Carolina State University head women’s basketball coach. It is with this communal mentality that she, despite her humility, served as the platform to rally a nation of coaches to be a part of one team against one opponent – cancer.
