Old Dominion Lift For Life 2023: Defense

The Old Dominion Football Chapter Lift for Life is coming up and our team is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes. Uplifting Athletes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which harnesses the power of sport to build community and invest in the lives of those impacted by rare disease.

Lift For Life is Uplifting Athletes’ signature event held by student-athletes at colleges and universities across the country. Our event is scheduled for June 24.

The challenges faced by the rare community are bigger than any one individual, team, or organization can tackle alone. Here at Old Dominion, we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes so that no person feels alone.

Supporting our Lift for Life is simple! Fans can pledge for each bench press repetition we average. Our goal is to average 15 reps during the event.

The Old Dominion Chapter Uplifting Athletes is proud to have the Monarchs from Old Dominion University become part of the network of chapters led by college football student-athletes. In 2022, the ODU Chapter was founded by Zack Kuntz, the Penn State transfer was inspired to bring a chapter to his new home at ODU. The 2022 Lift For Life was the Monarchs’ first event to support the rare disease community and help Tackle Rare Diseases.
