Just about everyone will be effected by cancer in their life in some way shape or form. Whether you have it yourself or a family member/friend has it. For me, my grandfather lost his fight to lung cancer when I was very young (about 6). Also, not to mention many more of our close family friends all having their own battles with all sorts of types of cancers. At the time my grandfather passed, I could not really fathom what was going on, but as I’ve grown up I have been learning more and more about cancer. If my campaign can contribute anything towards the Headstrong Foundation and helping families through their hard times then this will be a huge success in my eyes.
