NC State Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '18, Where Every Wolfpack Score Means More!
The student-athlete led NC State Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is using college football as a platform to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive throughout the month of October.
The October NC State Football schedule consists of games against Boston College on 10/6, at Clemson on 10/20 and at Syracuse on 10/27. For all of these games combined fans can support the NC State Wolfpack by making a pledge for each touchdown they score. As the games unfold, watch and cheer as each touchdown scored helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The proceeds from our 2018 Touchdown Pledge Drive support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

Make a Pledge for each touchdown the Wolfpack score during the month of October. We are projecting our team to score 9 touchdowns total!
The NC State Chapter
NC State started tackling rare diseases in 2011 when we joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led NC State Chapter serves the Rare Disease Community in honor of former Wolfpack offensive coordinator Dana Bible, who battled the rare disease acute promyelocytic leukemia in 2009.
About Uplifting Athletes
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
