Help me run my first half-marathon!

Running a half marathon has been a New Year’s resolution of mine for like, 8 years… and I’m finally doing it! I’ve got a great running plan and a “trainer” but I could use just a little more help.

If you will donate at least $1 per mile of the race towards United Way of San Diego, I will buy you a coffee, send you a thank you card, and pay you back if I give up/chicken out. This extra incentive will encourage me to stick with my training program and help United Way disrupt the cycle of poverty in San Diego through education. The money you donate will buy books for students in low-income communities to help prevent summer learning loss.
