TRU32, a program that began through Pastime for Patriots, is dedicated to honoring first responders. We work directly with the NYPD Foundation and FDNY Foundation to fulfill the mission of showing gratitude to as many American heroes as possible in addition to raising awareness for the sacrifices these brave men and women make every day.
The money raised from this campaign will go toward our TRU32 home games where 32 American Heroes are invited to enjoy a Mets game with a guest. We have also expanding the program to include scholarships for youth who have lost a parent in the line of duty and events to raise awareness for other programs that support first responders. I will personally match every dollar raised, doubling the effort to support Pastime for Patriots and TRU32.
I always compete hard to show respect for Mets fans and the game I love, but with your support I will be pitching with an additional PURPOSE this season.
