The Matrix Motorsports ‘red’ racing team will be partnered up and driving in honor of Wayne Davidson, a US Army Veteran and Operation Motorsport beneficiary!
Wayne is a native of Evansville, Indiana and enlisted in the United States Army in August 1992 as a Food Service Specialist MOS 94B with over 26 years with the service. Wayne completed three combat tours … two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Wayne’s responsibilities included providing food service assistance and advice to the commander and staff on all matters relative to the employment of Food Service assets and the Army’s food service methodology. In February 2018, Wayne was injury in a parachute jump leaving him with a severe TBI (traumatic brain injury) with frontal lobe damage along with temporal lobe damage.
These drivers will do their best to race hard and complete as many laps as possible to help aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of these US/Canadian heros!
