Kody Russey's “Reps for a Cause”

Hey, y’all, it’s Kody Russey. On March 1st through April 5th, I’m doing a fundraiser called Reps for a Cause at my pro day located at the University of Houston. This fundraiser is going to give back to the youth of Ruston, Louisiana. All donations will be divided equally between the Louisiana United Methodist Children’s Home and the Boys and Girls Club of North Louisiana in Ruston. During my time at Louisiana Tech, I worked at the Children’s Home and we took several trips to the Boys and Girls Club with Louisiana Tech football.

I know first hand that these organizations have great leaders that guide these children in the right direction. The way this works is you can pledge a dollar amount for each bench press rep I complete or a one-time donation. For example, if a hundred people donate just $1 and I do 30 reps, then we’ve raised $3,000. My goal for this is $6,500. Also, whoever donates the most money will receive a personalized gift from me.
