Help “I Am King” Reach Our Goal!

Broncos Country! I am so excited and honored to announce my first-ever giveback campaign – “I Am King” – in collaboration with my non-profit, the GB3 Foundation.

Growing up, I struggled with ADHD and other learning issues. I had difficulty studying and paying attention in class, which translated to poor grades and misunderstandings with my peers. Through a group of mentors and tutors that helped me discover tools that would make school and everyday life a place of success, I started to discover that I had more potential than I had ever realized. My life had purpose. Through this mentoring process, I was able to focus on who I was and live out my dream of playing in the NFL.

In 2021, my son Kingston was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a motor speech disorder. Those with CAS have difficulty coordinating the complex oral movements needed to create sounds into syllables, syllables into words, and words into phrases.

Whether you personally face a learning disorder or know someone who does, the “I Am King” campaign aims to promote education, empathy, and understanding to members of the learning disability community. We are all part of the same team. We are all “King”.

This season, I’m pledging to donate $1,000 for every Broncos game with 100+ yards rushing and $500 for every Broncos rushing touchdown made throughout the NFL season (up to $25,000), with funds going toward speech therapy and other cornerstone GB3 initiatives.

To kick off this initiative, I’m pledging a minimum of $5,000, factoring in my season’s overall performance, and hope that Broncos Nation joins me!

Be sure to follow our progress throughout the entire season here as well as on Instagram, @gbolles72.
