Help us fund our booster club

On Saturday June 19, 2021, members of the Liberty High School football program (9th grade and up) will participate in the first ever “Earn-It” challenge in an effort to earn funds for our booster club.  Our booster club provides our players with many necessary items that enhance the student-athlete experience such as pre-game meals, gear, senior gifts etc.  Many of these items are in jeopardy as over the past year, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the booster club’s ability to raise funds.  Many of the traditional fundraisers the club holds have been canceled.  While plans are underway to restart many booster club activities, this event is meant to be a jumpstart to getting our funding back to where it should be.

While this event is meant to be a shot in the arm to the booster club, it is also intended to kick off a new era of Hurricane football under new head coach Shawn Daignault.  On June 19th,  our student athletes will strive to complete a series of sprints and body weight excercises designed to challenge them both physically and mentally.  Those who complete the entire workout will be forced to display a high level of mental toughness as well as physical fitness.  The event is meant to instill the understanding that success is never given but rather always earned.  They will be forced to “Earn-It.”

The event will be filmed and results will be emailed to all supporters following the event.  Our coaching staff will serve as judges.  Thank you in advance for your support.

  • 40 yd Ladder Gasser
    • GL to 40 and back
    • GL to 35 and back
    • GL to 30 and back
    • GL to 25 and back
    • GL to 20 and back
    • GL to 15 and back

    • GL to 5 and back
  • 2 Minute Rest
  • Jump Squat/Plank
    • 3 x 20 second jump squat set (minimum 10 squats each set), followed by 1 minute plank

    • Sprint GL to 10 yd line, 10 push-ups, bear crawl back to start
    • Sprint GL to 10 yd line, 10 push-ups, sprint to 20 yd line, 10 body weight squats, bear crawl back to start
