Proceeds benefit First Tee Greater Seattle
In late July Madison and I will be playing 54 holes of golf in one day to raise money for The First Tee of Western Washington. This will take place at Chambers Bay in University Place, WA, home of the 2015 U.S. Open and one of the most physically demanding courses you will find in America. All in all, one round is about a 10 mile walk with 600 ft of elevation change - we will be doing this x3. Help us along the way and pledge a monetary amount per each hole we complete.
The First Tee is an amazing organization and an example of how we introduce the game of golf to young people who otherwise may not have the means or access to do so. This is how we actually grow the game and impact the lives of young people in our community. More below.
The First Tee provides educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The organization teaches nine core values of honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and judgement. More here: https://www.firstteeseattle.org/
