Support the Georgia Tech Football Team and Tasha Tough in the fight against all cancers affecting women.
On November 15, 2021, one of Georgia Tech’s own, Tasha Butts, Associate Head Coach for the women’s basketball team, was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer. She went to the doctor’s office for a routine screening and left as a cancer patient.
Through this process, Tasha has been acutely aware of the blessing of healthcare access – access that is not available to every woman.
In honor of Tasha’s fight and her passion for helping other women, football team along with several other teams on campus have a goal of raising $100,000. When we hit our goal, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund will award a $150,000 grant to a program serving underserved women by providing access to quality cancer healthcare at Northside Hospital!
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s mission is to raise money for scientific research for the development of life-enhancing drugs and clinical studies, serve the underserved, and unify people for a common cause. You can support our team by making your gift right now!
