The GenPop racing team will be partnered up and driving in honor of Justin Jarrett, a US Army Veteran and Operation Motorsport beneficiary!
Justin was born and raised in Philipsburg, PA. SPC Justin Jarrett served in the U.S. Army from 2010 until 2015 as an Information Technology Specialist (MOS 25B). Highlights of his service include deploying to Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) 2011 – 2012 with 3/1 Armored Division and serving with 516th Signal Brigade in Fort Shafter, HI.
**Rekindling the love of racing that he once had going to watch his cousin race go karts as a kid, Justin loves to help out on his cousin’s 305 winged sprint car during the summer. Justin began iRacing in 2013 where he raced off and on mostly in asphalt oval till dirt was released. He was recently crowned Tyler Daniels Racing (TDR) Veterans League Points Champion for Season 1 in street stocks in the #85 car. **
**For Justin, Operation Motorsport provides the chance to explain his racing portfolio. He loves the fact that Operation Motorsport, like TDR, has a sense of family; helping newer drivers learn road racing. This environment allows for competing with all levels of sim drivers to bring out the desire to be better. Operation Motorsport also provides a therapeutic experience by allowing motorsports to address the challenges many veterans contend with, such as PTSD. **
These drivers will do their best to race hard and complete as many laps as possible to help aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of these US/Canadian heros!
