Fordham Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '18, Where Every Rams' Score Means More!
The student-athlete led Fordham Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is using college football as a platform to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive throughout the month of October.
The October Fordham Football schedule consists of games against Georgetown on 10/6, at Lehigh on 10/13, against Bryant on 10/20 and Lafayette on 10/27. For all of these games combined fans can support the Fordham Rams by making a pledge for each touchdown they score. As the games unfold, watch and cheer as each touchdown scored helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The proceeds from our 2018 Touchdown Pledge Drive support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

The Fordham Chapter
Fordham started tackling rare diseases in 2011 because of a personal relationship the team had with a young fan that inspired them to take action. The Fordham chapter continues to leverage their platform today in order to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by rare diseases.
About Uplifting Athletes
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
