The Elon Women’s Soccer Chapter Lift for Life is coming up and our team is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes. Uplifting Athletes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which harnesses the power of sport to build community and invest in the lives of those impacted by rare disease.
Lift For Life is Uplifting Athletes’ signature event held by student-athletes at colleges and universities across the country. Our event is scheduled for April 21.
The challenges faced by the rare community are bigger than any one individual, team, or organization can tackle alone. Here at Elon, we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes so that no person feels alone.
Supporting our Lift for Life is simple! Fans can pledge for each 65 lb. back squat repetition we complete. Our goal is to average 15 reps during the event.

The Elon Chapter
Moved by the work of childhood friend and Notre Dame chapter leader, JD Bertrand, Elon Women’s Soccer defender, Livvie McManes, knew she wanted to bring Uplifting Athletes to her school. The 2023 Lift for Life will be the first event at Elon University to support the rare disease community.
