Proceeds are being collected by John Christopher Wackowski
Based on 3 touchdowns, each worth $611.67
My name is John Christopher Wackowski, a current senior at De La Salle (DLS) High School. I am a Type-1 Diabetic and have been so since I was diagnosed in Kindergarten. Diabetes is a tough battle that I fight each and every day. Thankfully, I have access to great healthcare and I have parents that make sure I am diligent about taking care of myself.
I launched DiabeticHope, a campaign dedicated to raising money for diabetic kids. Through Diabetic Hope, I have merged my goal of helping diabetics with my love for football. With the generous support of De La Salle High School, we have dedicated a football game each year to fighting diabetes. This year we are doing a special Pledge It event, where a donation can be made based on the number of touchdowns scored during DLS’s first NCS playoff game on November 9th or a straight donation can be made. Either donation is greatly appreciated!!
I believe this fundraiser embodies the true spirit of DLS—not only does DLS fight in the classroom and on the field, but we also fight for our community to make it a better place.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated in the name of De La Salle High School to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Thank you for your support and Go Spartans!
