Colgate Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '18, Where Every Raiders' Score Means More!
The student-athlete led Colgate Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is using college football as a platform to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive throughout the month of October.
The October Colgate Football schedule consists of games at Bucknell on 10/6, against Cornell on 10/13, and against Georgetown on 10/27. For all of these games combined fans can support the Colgate Raiders by making a pledge for each touchdown they score. As the games unfold, watch and cheer as each touchdown scored helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The proceeds from our 2018 Touchdown Pledge Drive support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

The Colgate Chapter
The Colgate Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2008 when it joined Uplifting Athletes, becoming the second chapter to join the Uplifting Athletes network. The Raiders have been pillars of light in the community during that time, using their platform in honor of former offensive coach Casey Vogt and others that continue to battle rare diseases.
About Uplifting Athletes
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
