Clemson Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '19, Where Every Tiger Score Means More!
The student-athlete led Clemson Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is using college football as a platform to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive throughout the month of October.
During Touchdown Pledge Drive month, the Clemson Tigers play home games against Florida State and Boston College and travel to Louisville. Fans can support the Tigers by making a pledge for each touchdown they score in all three games. We are projecting our team to score 9 touchdowns total! As the games unfold, watch and cheer as each touchdown scored helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The proceeds from our 2019 Touchdown Pledge Drive support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its commitment to create Uplifting Experiences, fund Rare Disease Research, and expand Rare Disease Awareness.

The Clemson Chapter
The Clemson Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2014 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. Founded by former kicker Chandler Catanzaro and long snapper Jim Brown, the student-athlete led Clemson Chapter serves the rare disease community in honor of an assistant coach who fought kidney cancer, a former player who fights Castleman disease, and a member of the Tigers athletic staff whose child battles neuroblastoma.

A nonprofit organization founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport. Uplifting Athletes fulfills its mission through a network of college football student-athlete led chapters, Uplifting Ambassadors and Team UA participants that support our charitable programs: Uplifting Leaders, Uplifting Experiences, Rare Disease Research and Rare Disease Awareness.
