Clemson Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '18, Where Every Tigers' Score Means More!
The student-athlete led Clemson Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is using college football as a platform to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community by holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive throughout the month of October.
The October Clemson Football schedule consists of games at Wake Forest on 10/6, against NC State on 10/20 and against Florida State on 10/27. For all of these games combined fans can support the Clemson Tigers by making a pledge for each touchdown they score. As the games unfold, watch and cheer as each touchdown scored helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The proceeds from our 2018 Touchdown Pledge Drive support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

The Clemson Chapter
The Clemson Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2014 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. Founded by former kicker Chandler Catanzaro and long snapper Jim Brown, the student-athlete led Clemson Chapter serves the rare disease community in honor of an assistant coach who fought kidney cancer, a former player who fights Castleman disease, and a member of the Tigers athletic staff whose child battles neuroblastoma.
About Uplifting Athletes
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
