As I take a step toward my NFL dream, I’d like to use this opportunity to give back. For NFL prospects, the attention is high during the pre-draft process. I would like to share my spotlight with the Rare Disease Community so that those affected by rare diseases know that I care about them and want to help make a difference. I have committed to participating in the Reps For Rare Disease campaign to support Uplifting Athletes and its mission to inspire the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport.
At Notre Dame, we take pride in giving back to the community. Our annual Lift For Life was a grueling workout for a great cause and the Notre Dame Chapter of Uplifting Athletes made a lasting impact on the South Bend Rare Disease Community with our annual Bowling event each spring.
Fans and supporters can make a flat donation to support my efforts during the Notre Dame Pro Day on March 20th .

A nonprofit organization founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and typically lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Uplifting Athletes fulfills its mission through a unique network of college football student-athlete led chapters, Uplifting Ambassadors and Team UA participants.
Since its inception, Uplifting Athletes has raised more than $4.5 million in support of the Rare Disease Community with a third of that, $1.5 million, given to fund rare disease research. To learn more about Uplifting Athletes visit www.upliftingathletes.org
Thank you for your support of my campaign and the Rare Disease Community. Every little bit helps. Please don’t forget to share this campaign and your support on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
